From frustration to innovation
The story of WallTune began with its founder, Hans, who, while renovating his 1930s home, encountered a familiar problem. His hallway was narrow, echoing, and far from welcoming. Acoustic panels provided a solution for the acoustics and atmosphere, but one challenge remained: how to make the panels truly practical.
Existing coat hooks were either too wide or required drilling into the pane, something that compromised both the look and the function of the panels. Out of this frustration, the founder of WallTune developed the very first design: a hook with a unique clamping system that fit securely between the wooden slats and felt, without screws, glue, or damage.
What started as a personal solution quickly evolved into an innovative product that resonated with households and businesses alike. Today, that idea forms the foundation of WallTune’s mission: to transform acoustic panels with smart, stylish, and sustainable accessories.
